Warranty (Mechanical Breakdown) Coverage

Extend the life of your vehicle with Mechanical Breakdown Protection!

The vast majority of costly mechanical and electrical failures occur after the factory warranty has expired. Without extended warranty coverage, you may wind up paying for unexpected and expensive repairs. As a result, extended coverage for auto repairs has become a necessity.

With a full complement of affordable coverage options, our protection is the ideal solution to protect the investment you've made in your vehicle and reduce out-of-pocket expenses should a mechanical breakdown occur.

You may be eligible for coverage even if you don’t currently have an auto loan with UNITED SA!

  • Repairs can be performed at any licensed repair facility in the U.S. or Canada
  • All claims are handled directly by the insurer with direct payments to the repair facility
  • You may transfer your coverage if you sell your vehicle before your contract expires

With four levels of coverage, our Mechanical Breakdown coverage offers affordable options to ensure your vehicle is protected against costly mechanical and electrical repairs. Coverage benefits include*:
