Bill Gregory

Bill Gregory

Mr. Gregory has served on the UNITED SA Board of Directors since 2014, serving as Chairman since March 2014. From 2012 to 2014, he served as chairman of the Supervisory Committee for the credit union. He has been a certified public accountant in San Antonio for 29 years and is the managing member of the CPA firm of Gregory & Crutchfield, LLC. Rick Tobias

Rick Tobias

Mr. Tobias served as UNITED SA’s Supervisory Committee Chairman from 2008 to 2012 and has served on the Board of Directors since 2012. He was elected Vice Chairman in March 2014. Mr. Tobias is the Chief Financial Officer of New Braunfels Utilities and has served in that capacity since he joined the utility in October 2008. Mr. Tobias graduated with a BBA and an MBA, both in Finance, from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). Mr. Tobias brings over 25 years of financial management experience from previous employment with Valero Energy Corporation, PG&E Gas Transmission Texas Corporation and Marathon Oil Corporation. He also previously served on the Board of Directors of the Valero Federal Credit Union for seven years, including two years as its Chairman. Don Mann

Don Mann

Mr. Mann is retired and has served on the UNITED SA Board of Directors since March 2010 and has served as Treasurer throughout his tenure on the Board. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He spent 20 years in management with two of the world’s largest computer companies. In 1993, he formed his own company in San Antonio, Texas, and it is still serving customers in Texas, nationally and for the Federal Government. Contact Mr. Mann*
Richard Baggs

Richard Baggs

Mr. Baggs has served on the UNITED SA Board of Directors since March 2009 and has been Board Secretary since March 2014. He is retired from CPS Energy. He is very involved in the community with organizations such as the Kendall County Fair Association. He has also served as a Board member for Berges Fest. Contact Mr. Baggs*
Clark Crutchfield

Clark Crutchfield

Mr. Crutchfield has served on the UNITED SA Board of Directors since March 2014. He previously served on the credit union’s Supervisory Committee since 2013 and was elected Supervisory Committee Chairperson in March 2014. Since 2009, he has been a partner in the CPA firm of Gregory & Crutchfield, LLC. Prior to that, he worked as an accountant at a large local CPA firm and for a Fortune 100 company for over eight years. He earned a BBA and an MS in Accounting from UTSA. Contact Mr. Crutchfield*
Peter Hugdahl

Peter Hugdahl

Mr. Hugdahl has served on the UNITED SA Board of Directors since 2005, following over 40 years of executive and leadership experience in the US Air Force and with USAA. He retired from the Air Force as a Lt Colonel after a career with the Office of Special Investigations. His Air Force experience led him to being hired as the USAA Security Director. He retired from USAA in 2005 as an Assistant Vice President. He earned a BS degree from the US Air Force Academy and earned an MA degree from Ball State University. Contact Mr. Hugdahl*
Charissa Power

Charissa Power

Mrs. Power is the CEO of Empowered Management Solutions, a direct hire and personnel consulting firm started in 2011. Mrs. Power has been a human resource professional (SHRM-CP) since 2005, after receiving a B.S. in Business from Penn State University. Since this time, Mrs. Power and her company have been recognized by the State of Texas as an industry leader in job creation and leadership development. As of early 2016, Mrs. Power acquired a construction business and is continuing to focus her time on bringing, investing, or starting additional businesses that bring significant value to the city and people of San Antonio. Charissa also gives back to the community through her numerous board and volunteer activities. Charissa sits on the the board for the International Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), the San Antonio Young Professionals chapter, and is a member of the Texas Staffing Association. Mrs. Power has received distinguished volunteer awards from various organizations including the MS Society, Susan G. Komen, Wounded Warriors, and the MilSpo Project, where she created a department in her consulting firm that is dedicated to finding military spouses employment nationwide to help reduce the military spouse unemployment rate.

John Rees

John Rees

Dr. Rees served as UNITED SA’s Board Chairman from March 2009 – March 2014. He has earned a BS in Nursing, an MBA in Healthcare Management and a Doctorate in Business Administration. He is a registered nurse, and has held positions such as Financial Analyst, Business Manager and Department Director during his career. Contact Dr. Rees*
James Wheeler

James Wheeler

Mr. Wheeler is a graduate of the USAF Academy and earned an M.A. in Political Science/International Relations from the University of North Carolina and an M.S. in Systems Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology. After retiring from the US Air Force, Mr. Wheeler has held a variety of positions in the financial services industry. He was a Vice President at USAA Federal Savings Bank, a financial consultant for Merrill-Lynch Investments, Executive Vice President for the St. Leo University Foundation, and currently serves as President/COO of the Lions Sight Research Foundation in San Antonio.
